About Journal

The Iranian Biomedical Journal (IBJ) is an English-language and multidisciplinary journal of the Pasteur Institute of Iran, publishing high-quality, hypothesis-driven and mechanistically informative research addressing fundamental and clinically relevant questions in biomedical sciences. The journal particularly encourages studies that establish meaningful connections between molecular and cellular mechanisms and human disease, and that demonstrate clear potential for translational application. IBJ welcomes full-length original research articles, reviews, short communications, and letters to the editor within the fields of Molecular Microbiology, Molecular Genetics and Genomics, Molecular Immunology and Vaccines, Cancer Biology, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Medical Biotechnology, Enzymology and Protein Chemistry, and Tissue Engineering. Bioinformatics studies must include adequate experimental validation to be considered within scope.
