Evidence regarding the state of patient safety culture in Arab countries generally suggests that this culture is inadequate, primarily due to a punitive approach to errors and a lack of open communication. Although all these countries are part of the European Union, many dimensions of safety culture require improvement, with only a few rated as good and the majority rated as poor. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;
